Job Description:
Job Summary:The primary role of the IT Project Manager is to
provide tactical management, administration, and leadership
throughout project teams. Assist MIS Manager with business
requirements, including business process definition, workflow
design, and system resource allocation.Essential
Responsibilities:Provide business/technical expertise and guidance
that will ensure compliance with the local and regional strategy
and direction.Responsible for developing a project plan that is
delivered within the agreed tolerances of time/budget.Continuously
work in partnership with different business and technical
stakeholders, such as, but not limited to:
- Consumer and Commercial
- Cash Management services
- Debit card and ATM card
- Help Desk
- Network AdministrationResponsible for the coordination of
multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver technology projects of
varying size and complexity, focusing specifically on software
projects.Acts as liaison with computer and software vendors and
other users to ensure support in meeting MIS objectives.Establishes
and implements system policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring
conformance with FirstBank information system objectives and
adherence.Work in conjunction with MIS to deploy new products and
services that facilitate the institution's business growth and
customer service levels.Acts as liaison with managerial and systems
analysis personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems,
suggest changes, and determine the extent of programming
involved.Compiles documentation of program development and
subsequent revisions.May enter test data into computer.Independence
of Judgment:The degree of judgment is related to data processing
and/or presentation of possible recommendations, the integration
and coordination of varied elements, and its application to
specific subjects, and the identification and definition of new
problems of moderate
complexity.Competencies:Management/relationship skillsGood customer
focus, attitude, and excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written
communication skills.A thorough understanding of Project Life Cycle
management controls.Experience in Software Deployments and
respective Life Cycle (SDLC)Ability to manage and delegate work as
part of a team in a matrix environment.Project Management Software
experience is required.Skills/Qualifications: Project Management,
Windows Server, Operating Systems, Teamwork, Verbal Communication,
SDLC, Project Life Management, Internet, Software, and
Interpersonal.Strong analysis, planning, and organizing
skills.Effective problem resolution.Impact of Errors:Any errors in
this position could affect all the departments' functionality and
could create a negative economic impact on the institution.Physical

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and 8-10 years of
experience (project manager and/or equivalent). Extensive
experience with project management in a high technology or
